Ability to Mask Subtotal and grand total on certain columns

We have Ledger Currency, Analytical Currency and Document currency available on detail screens ( subtotal/grand total). The only valid total is Analytical currency when multiple currencies or ledgers are used. We would like the ability to mask or hide or personalize the page where appropriate so these subtotal/grand totals are hidden.
