Mapviewer Integration with OBIEE 11g unable get the Newly formed states in INDIA map

Hi Team,

I am using world map sample schema for OBIEE 11g integration .We configured and working fine with existing reports but problem with the map couldn't differentiate  the newly formed states ex:Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Kindly suggest how i can overcome this issue Or Kindly provide me the link with the schema  updated state and districts information in it.

Hi,

I believe you are using the default NAVTEQ data maps provided by Oracle.

Those maps are FREE (subject to database licensing) but you can't expect them to be super accurate. There is plenty of vendors of maps that could provide you the latest map information including newly created areas but you'll have of course to pay for the service.

You could also create your own new custom layer, if so please have a look at oracle support: How To Add A Custom Map Layer (geoJSON) to OBIEE 12c (12.2.1) Visual Analyzer (Doc ID 2105521.1)

Can you suggest updates new world sample schema for download.If not i'll be  using the paid services map providers.

As said before there is no such update For free

you'll have to go and buy it from the map sellers.
