help in an interview

I will be having an interview next week and I have been asked to to come to the interview with a visualization, infographic or dashboard I like and should be prepared to discuss why I like it...... It can be something I have build, or have built, by myself or it can be from another source.
How do I go about answering this question because am still trying to break into Obiee

How?
Well ... the answer is in your own post!

So you are maybe missing the point of why they asked you that (and in that case I have the feeling they aren't going to give you the job).
The question they asked you is tool agnostic, it's more to evaluate your approach to "how to tell a story about your data".
Everybody (almost) can learn a technical tool, but telling a story is not as easy (it's not a 1+2 = 3 rule).

Gianni, I have the concept of the tool (Bi analysis tool/dashboard) but I have never worked on a real life project and thats my challenge

And?
They asked you to go there with a visualization, infographic or dashboard picture.
Not to build a visualization, infographic or dashboard picture in OBIEE and bring your own OBIEE install there with you to demonstrate how you build it live in front of them.
What I'm trying to tell you is that "story telling" with data has nothing to do with the tool or working on a BI project, and that's what they probably want to interview you about.

You are very correct learning the tool is not the problem but telling the story........ I know the concept Bi analysis/dashboard..........if I can get around a real life project I should be able to work my way through

You are still missing the point !
"a real life project" will not answer the question you have been asked !

Ok , ......that means I have to have something already built and then tell story......

so how do I go about getting a dashboard picture ....do I google something on dashboard

Download and explore the preinstalled sampleapp from oracle. Just you need to open it and use . As simple as it is ..

I'm obviously not the one who gave you that task, but it looks pretty clear to me. "come to the interview with a visualization, infographic or dashboard I like and should be prepared to discuss why I like it."
From my point of view you should do the following:
1. Google for dashboards, visualisations, etc.
2. Look at them.
3. Find the one you like.
4. Think why do you like it and be prepared to explain it to anyone.
This task makes me think that the employer knows you are not an expert in OBIEE (or any other tool). What they want to know (what I think they want to know) is how you think about data, can you distinguish between good visualisation and bad, do you understand why some visualisations are good and others are bad and so on.
