OBIEE 12c Security

Hi All,

We are right now on OBIEE 11g (11.1.1.9.0) with OBIA 7.9.6.4. Right now our authentication is done by LDAP which is set in RPD while authorization is done using External table. For migration to 12c with VA we need to move LDAP to weblogic and also Authorization out of RPD.

Have anyone done this? can someone point to any guide or posts.

Hi thanks for info. With this we can move LDAP to weblogic. Can you tell us if it is mandatory to move authorization also out? we are planning to move to obiee 12.2.1.2
