Issue with Grand total in union report

Hi,

I am unable to get grand total in a union report. There are two criteria in the report. PFA result.

First row is one criteria and second row is second criteria.

When i am trying for grand total (in pivot view) first row values are displaying.

How to get grand total?

1.) Which precise version?

2.) How do you even get that to NOT aggregate

3.) Are all union bits bringing back numerical values?

4.) Do the columns of the measures have an aggregation rule set?

5.) Have you already forced the agg rule to SUM in the pivot?

Hi,

OBIEE version is 11.1.1.7

All are measure columns (Numerical values) and set to SUM.

Errrrr what about the word "precise" confuses you? Which one of the about 13 different 11.1.1.7 versions?

Hi,

in the subject areas that you joined by a UNION, you can fill in a '0' in the dummy column.

Apart from that there are two places on which you can set the aggregation. In the column itself AND in the pivot as Christian Berg mentioned. Are you sure you set the aggregation on both places correct?
