OBIEE external table user taking long time to login

Hi,
We configured ldap authentication in management console. Also we set up external table authenticaton in repository.
We are facing Login issue in OBIEE ( 11.1.1.7.141014) It takes around 1 min to login with external table users..
We are using DB Authentication by the way. How can we reduce time to open login page?

Out of curiosity: Why did you leave part of the security in the RPD? Instead of properly going for an all-WLS-secured environment?
