Export to Excel Missing
In both Analysis as well as Dashboard. I assigned the privilege to the user from Administration>Manage Privileges>Dashboards>Export Entire Dashboard to Excel and Export Single Dashboard Page to Excel, but they still do not see the Export button.

Hi,
Are you saying you are not able to see the Export link in the dashboard under the reports? If so check if the links are enabled in the dashboard (Edit dashboard go to the analysis click on xyz and click report links)
For analysis do you have this privilege.

I have granted the Access to Export privilege to the User and they still do not see the Export link.

Did they try after clearing browser cache and then logging back in?

These privileges are the 2 you can access on every page using the top-right "page options" icon. It's a more "powerful" export as it's at the page or dashboard level and not like the link you see around the page which is at the analysis level (so one by one and missing generic objects like dashboard prompts text boxes etc.).

As @Sherry George said: did you enabled the link in the dashboard properties, page properties or analysis properties? It's a 3 level inheritance: analysis inherit from page, page inherit from dashboard and you can override the value at any of the 3 levels.
Granting a privilege doesn't mean the link is visible, it only means that if configure to show the link it's visible and can be clicked.
But it's still a bit confusing what you exactly want to do as you jumped between different functionalities and apparently gave lot of privileges to users hoping to see at some point an export link .... (never ever randomly give permissions hoping for things to work, first clearly define the needs, analyze the impacts and then implement the exact solution you need).

Yes, that didn't help

ok, is this an upgraded environment ? Also is it the same behavior for all users for different dashboards? or could you test using a different user? I would suggest, if possible, to may be create a new dashboard and place a report there and then enable the links and see if the users can see the link. And to confirm it is not some cache/cookie issue, the user can login to OBIEE from a private window (if using mozilla firefox) or an incognito window in chrome and then try.

Please check the permission of userid by which you have opened the above report with the issue user.

The Export feature does not show up when the analysis is placed in a dashboard, even with bisysusr

It wont be showing in the dashboard, until in the section properties in the dashboard n which you have kept the report, you go and click 'report links' --> Customize--> then choose 'Export'.

Hi 3371002 ,
I see you marked the last reply by user 3410125 as correct, but I'm not sure that in section properties there is an option for Export . I do not have a 12c version in front of me now, but I highly doubt that option is there.
Edit: Confirmed, it is not available under section properties.

Sherry George is 100% right (and said the same days ago).
The setting isn't at the section level but it's a 3 levels inheritance: dashboard, page and analysis in the page. Can be set at any one of the levels and underneath levels can override the settings coming from above (so dashboard > page > analysis).
We were there 5 days ago ...

I was telling about report properties in the section in which it was kept.
