Obiee 12c security Issue
I have configured MS AD in OBIEE as mentioned in the document https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1221/biee/BIESC/privileges.htm#BIESC534 . The AD users were able to login to analytics. Then I integrated OBIEE and EBS as mentioned in the article "OBIEE 12c: Integrating OBIEE 12c with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Security" ( Doc ID 2174747.1 ). After this, EBS to OBIEE login and direct login into analytics application using AD users fail with below error : "You are not currently signed in to the Oracle BI Server.If you have already signed in, your connection might have timed out, or a communications or server error may have occurred. To sign in again, click here. If the problem persists, please contact the site's administrator." On more serach i found below : OBIEE 12c: Accessing Analytics Fails From E-BS When Both Init-Blocks and FMw Security Users Are Configured ( Doc ID 2222838.1 ) and apply the patch as well. But still I am not able to resolve it. One open question I am having whether it is possible to have both the security model(AD and EBS) in the same OBIEE installation or not |
