does obiee record in any of the log files the number of emails that were actually created...

we use burst to email to send out completed surveys to the adjuncts that taught in a specific semester.

we've been doing this for the past  3 years. this time the process terminated normally but apparently no emails

were generated, and we're trying to figure out why, and I was hoping someone might direct me to the logs that are

generated ?

    What is your OBIEE/BI publisher version ? You may find some information in bipublisher.log

    for 11g version the location will be something like

    C:\BIP11ghome\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\servers\AdminServer\logs\bipublisher

    The location for 12c would be something like below

    /home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_Home1/user_projects/domains/bi_foundation5/servers/bi_server1/logs/bipublisher

    If the job ran successfully I would also check with your email administrator to see if the mail server blocked the emails.
