OBIEE 12c configuration
Hi,
While installing obiee122120, I have come across two locations where the config.cmd present.
Location1: <OBIEE_HOME>/bi/bin
Location2: <OBIEE_HOME>/oracle_common/common/bin
What is the difference between them?
I din't find any details in Oracle regarding Location2.
Can anyone please suggest..

Use the one under Location 1 which is specific to OBIEE. The one under Location 2 is a generic/common one which is included in all Oracle products. The one under Location 1 will call the one under Location 2 but add/include additional OBIEE specific environment variables and libraries.

Hi Anilesh,
Location1: <OBIEE_HOME>/bi/bin this is the one for standard single server installations.(This is the one you should be using for your configuration)
Location2: <OBIEE_HOME>/oracle_common/common/bin this one is for enterprise deployments this is far more comprensive than the single server installation and allows you to configure multiple instances on multiple servers.
Thanks and Regards,
