Custom Calculations in User Defined Fields?

Is there a way to create a custom calculation within a User Defined field? For instance, can I calculate overhead costs using a custom user defined field?

    First of all welcome to the Oracle Analytics community and forum.

    This is a 9 years old post that has been migrated across various forums over the years, and the user who posted it is not even in this forum anymore.

    Because of the lack of any detail (not even sure what product it was about), it will not really go anywhere or generate any useful reply.

    If you have a question, or even just a curiosity, you better post a new question providing a bit more than just 2 short sentences.
