Hello experts,

As a PoC, our client has requested to enable annotations in OBIEE Scorecrds. I came across this link to enable it: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17904_01/bi.1111/e10541/configscorecard.htm#BIESG2041 .

However, I am not sure if the repository configuration mentioned in above link is enough. Do we need to import the annotation tables in OBIE.. OR Creating connection pool is enough?

(for example, in usage tracking we need to import the usage tracking tables in physical layer of the repository.).

Please let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Vishal

Have you done what's written in the documentation? Have you created the Connection Pool? It takes about 10 seconds to build and test which is shorter than writing this question here.

BSC connection pool correctly pointing to the RCU-created schemas is enough.

    Thanks for your reply Christian!

Also, let me clarify: The OBIEE PoC environment is not ready yet and I have been asked for the estimation for this PoC.

So.. my answer to your first two questions is NO.

Then the response to your initial question is "yes it's enough". You can ask a more detailed question if you run into an actual issue with your environment.
