Hi,

Created bins in the following way and drill has been enabled to another page on the dashboard. However, the data is not matching. Kindly guide me what might be the issue and what are the things to be taken care when drilling from bins.

I tried drilling on the bin $0 - $100 where AP Amount value is not matching with the grand total.

    Did you analyse the situation?

    Which one is right? Did you check the filters if you don't have a mismatch there explaining why you see different things? Did you compare the queries to see if data is coming from the same place with same filters and so they are supposed to match?

    Difficult to tell more as you are the one with the data and the logs and everything available to find the reason of the mismatch.

    A BIN based on a calculated measure column will not pass itself as a FILTER to the target. Period.

    Dear

    Show us the criteria of your target report.

    a) Did you kept the same BIN formula(in the first report) as  a filter in target report and made it is prompted?

    b) Are you adding any new dimension to the target report which is not in source report?

    @Christian Berg

    But it seems like working for me.. I am using the values from a fact.

    a) Criteria 1

    b) Bin Code

    c)Results of criteria 1

    OBIEE 12.2.1.0.0 in AIX 7.1.0.0 . But it works in 10g onwards.

    Looks like some of your amounts are greater than the bin 1000-10000 ...
