Oracle BI Publisher 10G/11G/12C , dynamically renaming the output BI Publisher PDF file while saving

Hello All,

I have a requirement to dynamically rename the output PDF files in BI Publisher when saving it based on the logged in user in the BI Publisher report.

For example, I have a BI Publisher report which when saved as PDF on my desktop should automatically have customised filename like, Employee_Number.PDF , where Employee_Number is the logged in user. Eg if user ABC has logged in into BI Publisher, and he wants to generate his report, then the output BI Publisher PDF should be automatically saved with his ABC.PDF as filename without manually renaming it.

Please let me know if its doable in BI Publisher. Any kind of input will be really helpful.

There is no out of the box feature that let's you do this. You may ask this in the BI Publisher space for more inputs.
