Hi All ..

ver. 11.1.1.7.x

When do we need to move the  BI Publisher Report Catalog, which contains the XDO files and  that define the BI Publisher reports?

Location : %ORACLEBI%xmlp/XMLP/Reports directory.

I though moving rpd and webcat in presentation server will be enough to sync the envs.

Can some one explain this if this BI Publisher Report Catalog needs to be moved along with rpd and webcatalog.

    I think I got it ..

    BI Publisher supports the following catalog types:

        Oracle BI Publisher - File System

        The Oracle BI Publisher file system option is for installations of BI Publisher that are not integrated with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition.

        Oracle BI EE Catalog

        If you install BI Publisher with the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, the catalog will be automatically configured to use the shared Oracle BI Presentation catalog.

    So as long as BI Publisher is installed with OBIEE installation , one need not to think about BIPublisher Report catalog.
