OBIEE Database server migration with different name and IP address?

We are planning to migrate our OBIEE metadata DB server to a different location. DB server IP address and Server name will change from existing. What will be the steps we have to perform to make sure our OBIEE 11g  application should be up and running after migration. What configuration files needs to change to reflect updated server name and IP address. Is it advisable to change IP Address during migration?

Please suggest what needs to be done. Is any manual change in confirmation files are suggested?

    You need to update all your datasource configurations. Either login to the weblogic console and update each datasource from the console, or shutdown your weblogic domain and manually update the xml config files under the weblogic domain's jdbc folder.

    Have a look in MOS there is (at least) a note about this with the details on what and how to update it.
