User is not able to add reports to favourites menu bar in OBIEE 12c

Hi Team,

Users are not able to add reports to favorites menu bar in OBIEE 12c,

users has bi consumer role, and we can't provide BI-Author Role.

even if he add to favorites menu bar in OBIEE 12c, he is getting an error access denied.

Please suggest.

Your users are allowed to use their "my folder" ? Because that's where the favorites are stored, so they need to be able to save in it.

Yes able to access my folders,

also able to add reports to favorites as well.

But whenever user chooses a report from favorites list, then he is getting an error "Access Denied"

He has bi-consumer role.

This doesn't mean anything as the security model is totally flexible and your bi-consumer role can be everything or nothing based on your setup.
