    hello Christian,

    Thank you for your post and direction of help, I have finally give up my investigation and raised an SR with oracle.

    However in I found something more in log.

    [2018-08-02T05:26:09.244+03:00] [OBICCS] [NOTIFICATION:1] [] [] [ecid: ] [sik: ] [tid: 2]  [71011] Oracle BI Server biprod-n1:9514 has transitioned to offline state.

    But I will update the blog once I find any answer from Oracle Support.

    The support guys will ask for the exact same thing: log files with a higher log level.

    With out logs my Guess :

    These things only when two machines are not communicating with each other. Add 1st ip address to second machine etc/hosts file and vice versa.

    1)Were you able to ping machine 2 to machine 1 and wise versa ?

    2) is shared drive accessible on both machines ?

    3) why were you not able to restart. you have to start the node manager on second machine and start start.sh on first machine. Did you do that/

    Hello All,

    Thank for your support.

    Resolution we find out that ramdisk was full on node2. we have cleared it and its started working again.

    Thanks again for your wonderful support and as ususal Oracle support is still asking for LOGS.
