Hi,

We have recently installed obi 11.1.1.9 in a windows box .. it was all going fine.. But after stopping admin server we have started it by running the bin/startWebLogic.cmd command. But whenever we are cutting off the command prompt windows prompt ,console em and analytics all are going down.. previously we normally accessed all three. the problem started after the admin server restart. Please tell us how to solve this

What kind of "windows box"? Which exact operating system?

    Dear User,

When you run the "startWeblogic.cmd" manually, it does not return you a prompt. This is expected.

When you close the command prompt or the user logs out, it will close the OBIEE services.

Best way to prevent this is automate the process of starting the OBIEE services.

U are right when we are closing the command prompt , it stops the services but my question is before all this it was automated only by default .. can't we get back that stage again ?? like when it was 1st installed , no command prompt window used to  pop up ..

Check your windows services. It probably was setup to run as a service so use that to start it.

I have checked the windows service OPMN is showing as manual.. if I change it to automatic from properties.. will that solve the problem??

Yes, it should solve your problem.

My problem is soved partially .. like after setting the Oracle Process manager service to automatic , I can access the analytics now but em and console is still down ..

It's not just OPMN. There are other services as well like nodemanager in the services.

I do not have currently OBIEE 11G.

I think you will need to create startup script and deploy it as a windows service.
