Create Private connection to OBIEE

Hi Experts,

I have been trying to use the hypCreateConnection() smartview function to create a private connection to OBIEE, but I am unable to make it work.

I was able to use the same function to create connections to HFM/Essbase apps and it works perfectly.

The function expects certain mandatory parameters like provider, providerURL, serverName, applicationName and databaseName, etc. I am not sure what to use as applicationName and databaseName for OBIEE.

At the moment, I have used 'Empty' keyword, but that has clearly not worked.

Can someone please suggest what values of the parameters (application and database name) should be used?
