What is stored in root/users/userLogin/_delivers/_deliveries for OBIEE 11g?

I am on obiee 11g

Oracle Business Intelligence Suite  11.1.1.9

I am getting size alerts on obi02 and have tracked it down to large files stored in root/users/userLogin/_delivers/_deliveries.

Does anyone know if these are actual reports or are they just copies of something the Agent sent?  I'd like to be able to safely delete out the largest files from each user.
