Compound View Layout in OBIEE 12c Anaswers

Hi ,
I have created a report which has Compound Layout and Compound Layout :2 , Compound Layout:2 has the Original Report View.
When i Publish this report into Dashboard by default it shows data or results in Compound Layout 1 but I wanted to Display Data or Results in the Dashboard as the Compound Layout:2.
Inorder to do this do i need to do any changes in the Report or Dashboard. Please Help me with this.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
analysis, not report for OBIEE.
And the answer is simple, when you select the analysis you can also select which view it displays, it defaults to compound view but you can change it.
Or you can make it policy that you always make your compound view the view that you have in dashboards and just change your compound view by deleting in the analysis and dragging back the appropriate views into it from the listed views in the bottom left pane. I also find giving them helpful names, other than the Graph2 defaults is useful too.
Your choice.

1.) It's an "analysis". Not a "report". A report is a BI Publisher object and a completely different technology.
2.) When you map the analysis to the dashboard page, click the little properties button and click "Show View" to choose which view should be used by the dashboard.
