WriteBack Error in OBIEE12c

Hi All,

Yesterday I have migrated the newly created dashboard from Dev to Prod instance.

After successful migration of RPD,Reports and Dashboards writeback functionality is not workling.(abovve mentioned XML moved to Prod but its giving error)

Please find the below error for reference.

Write Back Error

The system is unable to read the Write Back Template 'VERTICAL'. Please contact your system administrator.

OK

How to generate REFERENCE_RATE = '@{ca6aab9a39bac1758}' like this in production

Could anyone suggest to resolve this in production instance.

Have you checked that the Oracle BI user has the necessary rights to your xml file?

Yes.. I have moved the file from Dev to Prod with Weblogic/Administrator user

Yes, but does your weblogic / administrator user have specific rights to that file on the OS?

i.e. If you are in Oracle what does ls -f yield on the file?

As to;  '@{ca6aab9a39bac1758}'; that looks like a presentation variable to me, which would be defined in your BI Dashboard / OBIEE Analysis, it is more usual to use the column references with Writeback though; @{c0} @{c1} etc - see ->

Yes .Previously it is working for one of the report in the dashboard but now facing the issue after moving the newly created dashboard/report from dev to prod.

Yes - so you need to check the rights on the new server, this is not like just moving catalogue / rpd.

I have checked and confirmed that writeback.xml file has read and write permissions in production instance.

Is your set up multi language, could the below apply?

I could see that there is a permission issue in RPD.I have provided and checked again.

Everything is working fine now.
