For case statements it is much more reliable if you can do the calculation as a physical measure in the rpd.
If this is not an option have you tried forcing that column to calculate in the DB layer (server complex aggregate)?

Sorry, I haven't mentioned that this formula is is RPD.
Thought that will be clear as I have mentioned about BMM placement ;(
