Briefing Book Re-arranging
Hi All,
Our users are asking if the layout of the briefing books that they are creating can be changed. In particular, they'd like to re-arrange/group objects together differently. As it stands, if you add something to the briefing book, it occupies it's own page in the PDF file. So, if you take several things from a dashboard, then you end up with several pages. Is there a way to have, say a chart and a table be on the same page of the breifing book?
I did see a note on MOS that seems to imply this may not be possible: (Doc ID 2157886.1)
OBIEE 11.1.1.9.x (Bi APPs 11.1.1.10.1)
Regards,
Charles

The arrangement will stick if it's like the want it in a dashboard page already ;-)
Jokes aside: Nope.

Yea. I think the approach may be to review these dashboards/pages and see why there are so many columns/views. If we can, maybe we'll do some re-arranging on the application-side. In any event though, it does appear that each "export" to the briefing book create it's own page. So, unless someone has the Adobe writer/editor, that cannot be undone.

Nope and I wouldn't recommend it at all
