Saving a report dierctly in shared folder (Will it be possible in OAS(oracle analytics server))

Hi All,
Hope you are doing fine, I need some input from you.We are trying to save OBIEE report into shared drive ,we tried deploying an ejb application ,but there was A PROBLEM.Whenever we attempt to export to excel/csv, the last few rows in the downloaded file corrupts for some unknown reason. Secondly, the file intermittently gets downloaded being compatible to Unix filesystem and I was unable to open the same with MS excel.Wanted to know if you have implemented something similar ir system (I have gone through similar post in community saying in unix this feature is not possible). Also with OAS will this feature come with OOTB solution .I cannot find any relevant piece of information in oracle support.
regards

I wouldn't expect agents to save content to the filesystem in OAS. OAS is mainly an alignement of on-premises OBIEE with OAC, and current OAC doesn't have that.
BI Publisher can do that for years (10 and more), therefore for those kind of requirements there is already a tool able to do it out of the box.

Thanks For reply Gianni.Hopefully in OAS there should not be a seperated license cost involved in that apart from OBIEE12c licencse

I can't affirm it 100%, but the message tend to go in that direction.
Still I would wait the proper OAS to be available and having your account manager confirming your license cover that. The main advantage is that you would not need an extra license anymore for the DV part, which is currently the case. (But still: before to use DV in OBIEE 12c waits that you installed OAS to avoid any issue if you don't already have the license for it)
