Apply button does not refresh output

I have defined a column prompt and set a presentation variable "PV-START" with a default value as indicated below for use in a dashboard page.
When the page is selected, the analysis launches.
Subsequently, modifying the date and clicking on "apply" does not refresh the output based on the new date.
Any suggestions and insights are appreciated.
"CCRS ActivityMonthly"."Activity Date" >=TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_MONTH, -6,@{PV-START}{Date '2019-04-01'})

5 days ago you has the same question and answered yourself with a correct answer: Apply button does not trigger analysis after modifying prompts
Please do not double post, first because it's against the rules of the forum and second because by posting again you seem to say that your previous solution isn't correct. So people looking for the same issue will find a thread marked as correct which isn't ...

+1 to Gianni. If the first thread was not solved, then please also remove the "correct" from the answer as it is very misleading to mark an answer as correct if it does not solve the problem.

In response to suggestions, I removed the "correct" response from my earlier thread.
I am still requesting ideas on why modifying the presentation variables does not trigger the analysis to launch.
I am also experiencing the scenario where the initial launch of the dashboard page is bypassing the presentation variable defined values stored in the catalog object.
In this scenario, the values used are the defaults defined in the filters.
I am using version 11.1.1.7

For your information: 11.1.1.7 is out of error correction support and out of premier support as you can see here: https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?parent=DOCUMENT&sourceId=1488475.1&id=1664916.1
So you are running a fully unsupported and outdated version and should rather think about upgrading as soon as possible instead of continuing to add new things which then also need to be part of said upgrade.

Thank you for alerting me to the fact that the version I am using is obsolete.
I reported that info to the DBA.
My assumption is that the two issues I am troubleshooting would still be evident in he 12c version.
The two issues being the inability to refresh the output and the filters not referencing the catalog object date parameters.

Do you have a 12c environment where to test? Otherwise you can't work with just that assumption in your mind

Unfortunately, I do not have a 12C test environment as you recommend.

@3713479 did you give up on this thread?

I was away the week of 8-26.
While waiting for action to be taken on the upgrade to version 12C, I am still troubleshooting the issues where I cannot refresh the analysis and the default parameters are overriding the values defined in the catalog object.
