Hi All,

When we export csv file from BI Publisher Reports it takes all the columns available with data model. Hence the csv file doesn't follow the template format of report.

I need to export the report as csv file with number of fields added into the report template.

Please suggest.

Regards,

Abinash

    a) - you're providing zero details like version number, OS or anything

    b) In general CSV is an export of the *data*. Not from what the report displays and mangles and omits.

    Hi Christian,

We are using Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.1.0. mounted on UNIX platform.

Agree with point b, "In general CSV is an export of the *data*. Not from what the report displays and mangles and omits." -- Even OBIEE does that, but how can we remove the unwanted columns from displaying to user, which makes no sense to them.

    Regards,

    Abinash.

By not having those columns retrieved at all in the first place.

yes, correct. but we need few columns for which we cannot exclude at data model layer, hence trying to exclude them while exporting.

That's simply not how the tool works. Use a data model for the export which has precisely what you need.
