12c OBIEE-/ APCC - RPD/catalog  - Not able to set dependency between 2 columns which are in 2 different standard logical folders

we have Item folder/dimension and Organization folder/dimension.

in catalog /view - i am trying to create a dependency between the Planning group column which is in the Item folder/dimension where as Organization is in Organization folder/dimension.

the same way they are in the presentation layer.

i did select option limit values by ----   Organization for the column Planning group ..its not working.

but the filters/dependencies are working on other columns that are in the same Item folder/dimension as planning group.

Question:   was all to be in the same dimension/folder/logical folder to create a dependency ?    or its still possible across the standard dimensions /folders?
