Natural Account Description limited to 80 characters

In OTBI the natural account description is limited to 80 characters, even less in practice as the description field is a concatenation of the flexfield segment value and the description.
The description in General Ledger (table FND_FLEX_VALUES_TL) is 240 characters. So I can't get the whole description on an OTBI report.
Is this intended functionality? Is there a way to get the whole description?

OTBI content / metadata is pre-built by Oracle. So unless you have some way of hacking the RPD (no...don't!) then you will have to raise a Service Request with oracle for this.
