Nqs Error - 17014 (Could not connect to Oracle Database in Report level) - OBIEE version 12.2.1.4.0

Hi Team,

I have installed OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0 (Build BIPS-20180409090153 64-bit) version and Oracle Database 12c Enterprise Edition Release 12.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production

I have placed TNSNAME.ORA File in this location.C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\user_projects\domains\bi\config\fmwconfig\bienv\core.

While developing RPD I can able to access the database but when creating report and executing , it is not connecting to database.

Do I need to place TNSNAME.ORA file in any other location ?

Do you have a TNSNAMES.ORA file on your OBIEE server? IT should be in <DOMAIN_HOME>/config/fmwconfig/bienv/core

12.2.1.4 has an additional place where you have to copy the tnsnames.ora.

TNSNAMES.ORA file is not available in that location. I have manually added but it did not worked out.
