For "YTD/month" - store "YTD" in OBIEE/Essbase and leave "/month" to MS Excel?

Hello, I was wondering about in either OBIEE or Essbase, I know it's already very common to have YTD as a time series stored member in the system.

However, what about the times when it comes to interpreting complicated calculations such as "YTD/month"?

Would you still save "YTD/month" in OBIEE or Essbase?

or would you just leave it to MS Excel to handle the "/month" part?
