Accessing data through ORDS Rest Data Services in OAC and OAS

Hello Experts,

I have Exposed my database views and tables as ORDS -Oracle Rest Data Services. Can these ORDS Rest Services can be consumed by OAC- Oracle Analytics Cloud and OAS - Oracle Analytics Server? I need this because I cannot expose a SQL connection from our database which is on cloud (DBCS- Database Cloud Services) due to direct data access restriction perspective (Data security on cloud). I need to generate all form of reports -BI Answers, BIP and DV reports , however a sql based query is not allowed. I need to access data from resources created on these DB views and tables through ORDS and through ORDS Rest data services. Any detailed insight will be helpfull and URLs/docs etc will be additional help.


I heard that ORDS- Oracle Rest Data Services was wrapped in a JDBC driver and OAC worked on top of that JDBC driver. It is about using REST services as a data source for Answers, DV/VA, BIP.

 

 Please advise.
