HI Gurus,

In the advanced tab of the analysis I have enetred columns and the group by and clicked on Apply SQL. Later I realised that it has disabled the hierarchy and members selection and other thing sin my report and in dashboard.

Though I have selected 3 columns to calculate this was impacted by all the hierarchial and memebers selection columns. Could some one please help me in getting back the those features into Dashboard and in Catalogue.

Or Could someone please suggest me the turnaround to get that back as it was impacted other reports pointing to those columns.

If I logout and Login then the Dashboards pointing to that columns are working fine, but when I run the analysis on those columns for aggregation or group by then that will be showing the error

VIEW DISPLAY ERROR:

ERROR GETTING DRILL INFORMATION select ....

please find the error attached

Thanks,

Vicks

    Hi Vicks,

If you have manually changed things in the advanced tabd and pressed "Save" then there's no way back except for the brower button and praying that you still have an old page state in the browser history. Other than that you have what you have.

The advanced tab is called "Advanced" and tied to a special access right for one reason: With great power comes great responsibility. YOu have all the possibilities but also have to live with the consequences of using them.

    Thanks Berg,

Really appreciate your reply. What you said make sense.

But some how the next day when I opened the reports all are working as normal, I think the changes were back to normal as long as my session was expired or terminated.

    Now thy are looking good.

    Thanks
