Creating a multi-select column in a Analysis table

I want to know how I can create an OBIEE ANSWERS analysis table with the ability to have a multi-select column.
What the customer would like is to look at the data table , select a few rows of data ( maybe a check box) , hit apply and those records coming up on another dashboard .
They do not want a prompt listing because they can not make sense of the data this way.

How?
That exact behaviour you describe will take you some HTML and JS and some time writing the required pieces of logic.
