Multiple Compound layouts split by column
Hi All,
Using Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.4.0
I've been tasked with creating a compound layout (5x performance tiles, one graph, one gauge and one pivot table) which will be split by a COA segment parent with three options, lets say Cost Centre.
The problem I have is that the layout takes around 30 seconds to load, so if I show three separate Analyses, identical apart from hardcoded filters for Cost Centre A, B, and C on a page total load time is 30s, but if I want to have one Analyses and flick through using a dash prompt each load time is 30s so 90s in total. what I want to do is be able to represent all three with a total load time of 30s.
if I create 3 separate reports on a dashboard and use a condition to show/hide then each report will take 30s to load, rather than running one report and being able to load all data then split between Cost Centre A, B, and C.
The ideal would be to create 3x compound layouts and select through them using a view selector, but I cant figure out how to separate each compound layout into their respective Cost Center? I'd assume I can do this with selection steps but selection steps seem to apply to the entire Analysis and not per layout.
I could create separate 3 sets of columns each representing a CC in one Analysis but this seems like a botch-job way around this.
Does anyone have any better ideas?
Thanks,
Lee
