How to create a null report for a combined analysis

Hi, Im trying to create a null report for a combined analysis. Some of the columns I have do not have a direct relationship with each other, and it is inadvertently filtering out results because of the presence of a null value on one side of the relationship... If there is any training or documentation to learn this would be great.
