Creating Prompts
I am creating Prompts for my dashboard. I have Role, Name, Project and Country column values created. The First 2 coming from a different subject area than the 3rd and 4th. The 3rd prompt should be filtered to role and name prompted ( it can be all values) and the project status is open. Lastly the Country Prompt should be based on the first 3 prompts too. I have assigned Role and Name prompts as presentation variables. What is the reason I can't use those two variables in creating a sql result values for my 3rd / 4th creating a new prompts. Thanks !

You can't?
You can use whatever variable you want in the LSQL of a prompt, what make you say that you can't use the variables?
Are you saying that because you don't see it working? Did your page reload after setting the first 2 prompts? Because if you don't submit prompts, the variables still don't exist and therefore your 3rd and 4th prompts can't use their values.

Thanks for answering my question! I can create the prompts.
That's right the variables did not have the values. By Submit you mean hit apply button or as long as I choose any of the LOVs from the first two?
I think its related to the chained prompts in previous posts but I wasn't able to find the solution.

If you insert a page break between prompts 2 and 3, The first two prompts are submitted when "Next" is selected to go to Prompts 3 and 4.
