Is it possible to change the defaultlocation ofthe file jazn-data.xml in obiee12c to different path?

My default location for  jazn-data.xml is [Domain_home]/bidata/service_instances/ssi/metadata/authmodel/jazn

is it possible to have a path outside of the domain_home to be the location for the xml to be placed?

if so, where can we change the path for the xml?

Security isn't file based anymore (the official source is OPSS), therefore you can't and shouldn't touch that file and it can't be moved.

That location is inside the domain because it is still used for all the metadata still on disk (like catalog), but it's based on the domain. You should put the whole domain somewhere else if you want it somewhere else.
