OBIEE 12C or OAS installation on Laptop

Hi Everyone,

Is there any way to install OBIEE12c or OAS in my laptop or is there any VM ware option for samples i tried to search for samples in Oracle site i haven't find any i am new to OBIEE want to explore any learn about the product kindly help.

    Of course you can install it on your laptop, as long as you have enough RAM and CPU. But you can't install it on your desktop Windows 10 or 11. You should only use certified OS for the install (you can search the forum for the long list of people who thought they were above the certification and couldn't make it work...).

    You can use a WSL image or a VM (in the end a WSL is like a VM) to run a supported OS and install in there.

    Because the product is an enterprise product, it does require resources, even more if you need to host the database on the same laptop: 16Gb of RAM minimum I would say because your windows + DB + VM + OAS will not make it in 8.
