Can't save in the root folder

Hi,
I'm trying to save a report directly in the shared folder and getting the error 'Can't save in the root folder. I can save it in any folder within the subfolder. Logged in as an admin user that has full access. Is there a way to change the permission and allow users to save in the root folder.
