I am trying to change the default value for "Prompts Auto-Complete" in the my account setting for all users.
According to the documentation, the <SupportAutoComplete> tag in the instance configuration should allow me to change the default setting to "On" for all users.
However, that didn't work, all users still have "Off" as their default.

What does your instanceconfig.xml file look like? post the relevant section here, you may have typed something wrong. Did you restart BI after changing the instanceconfig.xml? You could try creating a new user and logging in to see what their autocomplete setting is set to?
