OBIEE 11g Report UI not showing data

This was an old thread but not answered but archived ... when I check any column property via criteria for any column, it shows hide option always enabled. Even if I uncheck and come back to verify again, I find it enabled every time. So it gets enabled automatically and because of that some of the columns does not come up. I checked in RPD, hide if.....there is nothing, blank. Also, no error, correct number of rows returned in log.

Please suggest from where it is overwriting even when I change it for any specific column. Is there any setting from where it can be removed and then if I disable, it should be saved.

I observed that it is happening for one data type, in column properties , column format I disabled hide and then "save as default" I selected the third option which says system wide default for this data type. It helped me to resolve the issue for me. So, there are basically three option, we probably need to decide based on the case.
