Strange issue with Admintool OBIEE 12C for SAP BW

Hi all,

    we're facing a very strange issue. In admintool under the physical layer we're trying to add a new

    database to the repository with a connection to SAP BW. In order to make the connection to we're

    using the SAP BW Native database type.

    Once we insert all the details and recheck the properties we find that all the fields are replaced

    by the "!s!" string. Has anyone faced this issue ? Are there any known problems ? This sounds

    quite a trivial problem so there should surely be some quick fix. BTW: the system number is dropped

    and we didn't provide and Additional Parameters.

    I suppose at this point the real question is: has the Bristlecone Adapter been tested on OBIEE 12c ?

    Which version of the NW RFC SDK software from SAP should be installed ?

    The OBIEE is installed on a Windows Server 2012.
