Currently we hold on our ETL process running in the OBIA/ODI layer if the BICC Extract is still running, so our ETL process runs on a complete set of data delivered to UCM.

Once the BICC extract completes, we start our ETL process which downloads content from UCM.

We want to automate our ETL process in such a way that it can make an API call to UCM to find out if the BICC Extract completed.

Question:

How can we check if a BICC extract completed and if all content has been delivered to UCM? Is there an API call or a flag which a CRON job can read from the OBIA/ODI layer, before it kicks off the ETL process, so it can be automated without manual intervention?
