How to hide a custom data set from users who have access to the data

As part of our transition to CAA, we want to hide old custom data sets containing Financials - GL Account Analysis columns. We no longer want users to be able to select this data set to create a report. How can we hide it so only admins see it? When I go to Inspect action on the custom data set, it already is restricted to Service Admin role, but users can still see it as an option in create workbook.

Hi @Molly P ,
Thank you for visiting and posting in Fusion Data Intelligence(FDI) Product Community Page.
Please remove the Duty role associated with old custom data sets containing Financials - GL Account Analysis.
Duty role restricts user to see the subject areas. Please refer to documentation link.
Thanks

You can try following:
- Create a "Deprecated Datasets" folder
- Set folder permissions to Admins only
- Move the custom dataset into this folder.
- This method also hides the dataset from the UI for most users.
