In general the scope of features that we plan for OAS 2024 is inclusive of what has been made available between the OAC Mar 2023 update through the OAC Jan 2024 update. There may be a few features with cloud-based dependencies that do not make it to OAS. And yes, we do plan to have Semantic Modeler included in OAS 2024.

First phase of fine-grained permissions feature is planned for the November update. This will allow more granular control of assigning permissions to features.

Catalog manager command line is still available and has all the features of the GUI. In terms of Oracle Analytics Client, all this means is that it will not be delivered as part of the server installation. The client download/install remains available.
