I found out what happens. The error is because the number of values in the first line (used for headers) does not match the number of values in the data rows: some words have more values. It would be better having a clearer error message - something like "header row does not match data" ... But then, how can that be ? Here…

I confirm the observation: the layer and all map decorations are rendered. But the background map is missing (background is blank).

Finally DVD works fine now. I am not 100% sure how that happened, but I did reboot my macbook. I had an OS update pending ("10.13.3 Supplementary Update") that required a reboot. So I don't know what made DVD work - is it that update ? I don't think so (it is a security update protecting Macs from some obscure text bombs).…
