Mark, I was seeing this same issue and just found the fix. Log into your OAC weblogic console (I had to create an access rule to 7001). Go to Services - Data Sources - click on biplatform_datasource - go to the Connection Pool tab. From here, you will need to see two things. 1. your URL - will have a crazy Service Name…

Hi 3298792! This is a great question. There isn't anything publicly being talked about in this space. There are some A-Team posts about migrating 11.1.1.10.x to cloud compute instances but other than that, nothing in the official public Oracle space talking about the next plans.…

Hi Avinash, The issue is when it is trying to insert, there is going to be a duplicate, not that there is a duplicate in either the temp, staging, or target table. In this situation, drop the index (or disable the constraint), run the mapping again manually, and then check the target for duplicates, remediate (take…

You could check out this post. It is for 11.1.1.9.2 but the logs, paths, etc are pretty much the same. https://www.rittmanmead.com/blog/2016/02/beckys-bi-apps-corner-obia-install-perl-script-patching-and-troubleshooting-when-they-fail/

You will get a snapshot too old error when too many new transactions/records are entered into the table you are querying from. Since this is a query that is still running in EBS and hasn't moved to inserting any records into the C$ table, that would make sense. The only time I've actually gotten this error myself was…

I think I'm going to automatically start tagging everything as christain berg! That is pretty funny. EDIT: Don't actually do what I suggest. It is against forum rules. Right, @Christian Berg?

I am thinking maybe just re-running the OBIA rcu, to drop and then readd those schemas would work. I've on a couple occasions had to back out and restart an installation again about halfway through. I've successfully dropped the OBIEE rcu schemas and readded them without issue after an install. However, the OBIA rcu…

Also, while I'm thinking about it, double check that all of the perl patching completed successfully and the PSA.sh(bat) completed correctly each time (ATG, FSM, BIApps). For the perl patching, check the log by following the steps below. Log file location If you remember, you set a WORKDIR path in the…

Have you completed or are you in the process of completing the post-install instructions in the installation guide? If so, open ODI Studio and log in. Go to your topology navigator tab, expand Physical Architecture > Technologies > Oracle > XX_BIACOMP (Where XX is PROD or whatever name you gave during the RCU…

I've had this same issue on numerous installs. I once spent a week or so digging into fixing it, without resolution. Now I just ignore it because I can do each step in BIACM directly. On deadline, I've always just used FSM to get the check list tasks, and then go directly back to BIACM to do each step. The help (?) icon in…

OBIA 11.1.1.10.1 does support OBIEE 12c, but there is a caveat. You will need to do an Out of place upgrade or Dual-Headed Deployment. What that means is you are essentially going to have two different Oracle_Homes and weblogic servers. For more information, check on Oracle support for the following Doc ID - OBIA 11g:…

Peoplesoft has other tables that do not have last update DTTM. There are two Oracle recommended work arounds if you aren't using OGG. You can use a database trigger or a materialized view. For an example, see Configuring Incremental Extract for Projects Facts for PeopleSoft

I've found the data model reference docs on support.oracle.com for OBIA 11.1.1.10.1 - it won't show you the differences, but it will have the DMRs for the new version.
