This is quite infuriating. Government agencies can't just accept that this is the only "default" availbable American number format!

different countries have different standards for Thousand and Decimal separators. Currently we have no way to change the "NLS" settings so they fit our clients' needs. Not only for currencies but all numbers. https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19455-01/806-0169/overview-9/index.html
